I had read that the Developers were considering giving players more control over what modifiers we can craft onto our gear. I am wondering what the current status of this idea is?

I have never seen anywhere that the Devs were considering that. I have seen a crapload of posts from people asking for that, an idea I would like to see also, but nowhere have I ever seen any Dev even saying they would so much as think about it.
