Gravimetric Photon torpedo upgrade

Hello all,
I have the Gravimetric Photon Torpedo and want to know how to upgrade it I have been trying but don't have a option to choose this torpedo to upgrade. I am able to choose other torpedo's to upgrade but not this one. Any help would be appreciated.\

Unequip it, click the upgrade button on the bottom of your inventory, drag & drop the torpedo into the upgrade panel.

Or, once it's in you inventory, just right click it then select upgrade.
