How does the reputation system work?

Hello. I just made level 60. I want to do a mission on New Romulus, but it says I must be level 1 Romulan reputation first. I have 150 Romulan Fleet Marks. What do I need to do?

Press U to bring up your Character Status screen.

At the top, you'll see several tabs, one will say Reputation. Click that.

On the next page you will see the list of Reputations on the left side. Find New Romulas Reputation and select it.

From this menu, you can run various 'projects' that will either create gear or will grant you experience in that reputation. Look for the 20 hour Project called "Daily." You will contribute a small amount of marks, and a few other resources to start it and it will run for 20hrs. Once complete, you'll 'claim' it the next day and it will grant you a chunk of XP that will move you up in that reputation. Since you start at level 1, it should give you access to those quests on New Romulas right away. You should hit Tier 2 in 2 days if I remember correctly.

From there, keep running it every day and you'll keep advancing, though each tier will take longer then the last. Eventually, you'll max it out. Once you do you'll get a reward, usually 30k Dilithium, and a few hundred marks to get you started. You can then run projects in that reputation to create various space and ground gear items.

It works the same way for all the reputations, you just run the daily projects until you max it out.
