competive marks and pvp arena ps4

ok I am so confused the menu for competive marks says can be obtained from any pvp match I played 3 area matches won 2 lost 1 and none of them gave any rewards at all the only reward I got was for the vice admiral daily no other rewards at all not a single mark what's the deal is the pve ques the only way to get marks?

    Yeah, it is something that Cryptic has actually not implemented yet even on PC. So that information is misleading...
