Are Sompek Marks going to stay after event?

I finally got my first captain to a level that could actually do the event yesterday. I did the arena, got one mark. But now I find, that I can only get a max of 11 marks with the time that it has left. Will the marks stay and be applicable if the event is rerun?

It is not a mark, but a merit. Yes, it will stay in your inventory when the event is over. If you think you want the Sompek Pulsewave, then slot the event project, but do not allocate the merits. Keep them in your inventory until you are positive you want to use them to get the weapon. This is not an account unlock prize; it is per character so each character can get at most 1 merit every 20 hours.

I personally do not bother with pulsewaves. While I do play the event I am simply going to store the merits in my inventory for all characters and simply wait to see what the next Arena of Sompek prize will be.
