Upgrade weekend or R&D weekend ?

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
Now what is it exactly because on patch note and launcher window it say upgrade weekend but in game calendar it say R&D weekend
so witch one is it???

    You can look at a tech upgrade and see. If its points are doubled, Upgrade Weekend.

    Since we just had a Dil Weekend I'd say it's an upgrade weekend.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    The dillord giveth and the dillord will take away. After the food last week they needed to trim off the excess stockpiles :) kind of expected it soon because of the recent additions in the Patch notes too

    Makes me happy.
    Been saving dil since last run of the Phoenix box. Those upgrades will be a Godsend this weekend WHOOP !

    Calendar says Upgrade weekend. R&D Weekend is on the 17th.
    This is an MMO, not a Star Trek episode simulator. That would make for a terrible game.
