    Well now, isn't this interesting. I was just talking with some fleetmates a couple days ago and the topic of upgrading came about. I have never really bothered with upgrading outside of the mission reward stuff that can upgrade for free. Just never felt like I needed it since I'm not a min/max type player.

    However, I do see how upgrading can be a benefit so I said that the next time one of these upgrade weekends happened, I would upgrade some items.

    Well, time for me to do just that. :)

    That or diabolical.... Hard to be sure. Letting people get Phoenix upgrades WHILE encouraging them to use them? Hmmm...

    Is it bugged or khmm... 'nerfed'? Atleast its strange. In last two days I tried to upgrade about 30-40 mk ii beam arrays and gnd weapons (mostly crtdx2/pen, crtdx3 or dmgx3) with omegas and 2x research boosts and:
    - it mostly gave a bad mod (acc or crth) and went to epic, or
    - 2 or 3 times gave a good mod (e.g. 4th crtd) and never went to epic (I tried after mk xiv, too).
    I spent ~300m and all results are non-useable, vendortr*sh items, wasn't worth it. I hope it'll be change some %.
    Sorry my english, i'm very disappointed.

    I can understand the frustration of searching for certain mods but for the players out there, including myself, that are not aiming to be the best of the best since just PvE I'm sure those mods you are not seeking will sell well on the Exchange. Hopefully you can recuperate some of your investment.
