I recently had an unpleasant encounter with a channel which I did not request to join and got numerous invites to, despite rejecting all 3 of the previous invites.
When I investigated the issue, the members of the channel insisted I had to be in the channel mandatorily because someone had decided I must be there and the invites would keep coming automatically.
They also stated I was not allowed to leave the channel.
What I think happened is someone I was in a PUG with recorded my handle and kept spamming invites to me directly, bypassing all normal privacy settings.
Given this situation, I think it would be best if the ability to autoblock Channel invitations was added as a setting.
So if an unwanted channel invitation arrives, the game will automatically reject it without player input required.
So that if a player sets this toggle to on, the only way that they can join a channel is by typing the name and clicking the join button.

But I don't like channels that are made specifically to organise queue runs.
In any case, the point of this topic was to identify an oversight/omission in the privacy settings blocking.
If this was to be done again with far more nefarious intentions, that would not be good.
Keep in mind anyone's handle can be seen anywhere, even if the privacy settings for "annoyed mouse" are enabled.
All you have to do is be near the player and type /w without sending a private chat message.
So (in my opinion), it's best to take the pre-emptive step of adding the channel invite block option now instead of when channel invites are misused.
