I'm pretty sure it's impossible to have the foundry as it works now on X-box or Playstation, due the different way STO works in consoles.

I dunno if the production team is working to change that but as far as I know at this moment the answer to your question would be "no as it is impossible to impliment on consoles".

As far as we know, the only technically feasible way of getting Foundry content onto the consoles would be for Cryptic to manually reconstruct those missions for console. While we might (in a hazy dream-like state) imagine Cryptic porting a few community highlights there is no way to translate this into a full-featured Foundry on the consoles, either from the standpoint of the consoles having a native editor or simply access to missions produced on the PC. There's prohibitive technical challenges (and outright impossibilities) associated with either of those options, and even manual porting of select Foundry missions would take considerable effort (which could be spent on other, higher priority things.)

So, the answer is simply "no, the Foundry isn't coming to consoles." There's a slight shade to that "no" but most likely it'll remain a firm "no" for the foreseeable future.

Then I don't see the point in it shouldn't make additions on one platform if they can't make them for another platform it's a joke

The Foundry was first opened up to the public in December of 2010. STO for the consoles launched September 2016. The Foundry predates the launch of the STO console ports by almost six years. No special additions have been made here. It's technically impossible to get the Foundry working on the PS4 and Xbox One as it was made for the PC, hence no Foundry on the consoles. Simply put, the platforms don't support it.

While I don't think it's impossible to create a Foundry for the consoles. There are so many games out there that offer level creation or editing options. Such as Halo, Project Spark, Disney Infinity, Farcry, MineCraft just to name a few on Xbox. It might need to be reworked to make it user friendly on the Xbox or Playstation formats. But It's not impossible. I will also say that I have taken breaks sometimes for months from the console STO due to having to wait for new content to hit the console. Might make sense from a business stand point if players had the 3rd party content to enjoy and share with each other. While we wait 6 months plus for new content to be ported over from PC.
