heh, did a Borg red Alert.... 14/15.... so I did a story mission I hadn't done yet, and got it the first time I shot a Borg ship. I dunno what the diff was, but after doing the Red alert, the Borg in the story mission seemed to be made of tissue paper.
Borg in story missions are your level. Borg in the Red Alert are 59 (or 60) and you are leveled down to 50. Which makes them a little bit tougher.
It seems this was no longer the case, at least not when I tried it yesterday?
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
I won't complain too loudly about them sparing me the temptation to spend hours every day grinding this, but if they want their Endeavor System to look popular and successful, it seems a natural choice to allow full rewards to be collected by every alt on every account.
Rewards seem random. I only got some R&D resources and 50K EC. Which means alt-farming clickies are still way more worth the time put it, which is a boring grind, which means I play other games instead.
unless you happen to have an alt that is farming that area.. i got lucky my Orion needs 2 more grenade pulse rifles
Which mission/s did you do? How long did that take? Why do you feel the reward was inadequate?
The turret-programming one, which I quickly guesstimated to be the fastest (then it turned out the mission text lied about programming 6 turrets, it actually required 15). Too long for the reward offered. Because it wasn't high enough for the time spent.
