I really do hope that the amount of money the Discovery folks have spent on things like "blue fabric from Switzerland" correlates to the level of effort they've put into creating a good story. 'Cuz plenty of shows and movies have expensive costumes, sets, effects, etc., yet that didn't insulate them from being awful. (example, see: Jupiter Ascending)
