Material Update for the Stargazer, Oberth, & Excelsior

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
Now that the Miranda and Connie have had their materials update, can we get the Stargazer, Oberth, and Excelsior ships materials updated as well? I would love to get those nice looks onto those ships. :)

    Hopefully they might do the Stargazer when/if they release a T6 version (which I'd buy, no question) - same for the Oberth, although I personally wouldn't buy that.

    If there's anything next on the revamp list, I'd assume it would be the Excelsior.

    They already made a pass on the Galaxy to bring it up to spec.

    As for the Stargazer (Constellation), that was released with the proper skinning in the first place.

    The Oberth and Excelsior do need an update, though.

    To paraphrase that thread: this would need a remodeling of the ships, not only a materials update, so not happening in the near future. It will probably happen if and when Thomas feels like it, since these are private projects not Cryptic's. Doesn't sound too negative though.

    I believe the last Tier 5 ship to get a Tier 5 version before Tier 6 was the Stargazer... So I wouldn't expect it all that soon to happen, at least not if it is any way on Cryptic's schedule. What Thomas does on his own time is up to him, and I am sure he doesn't mind suggestions, but they must really be suggestions, not expectations or orders. ;)

    Those are the right materials for the Kelvin ships. They made those with the proper design from the start.

    There wasn't an update to the Excelsior when it got T6'ified? Well, that's just another reason not to fly one. I mean, I wouldn't fly one anyway. It's boff setup is TERRIBLE.

    I would also like to see an update to the Oberth as well as a T6 Oberth.
    When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.
