So..The way that ability shows its Damage (Dps)..Is not the same as similar abilities in the science realm of Holds or Epg Damage abilities.
For example: Tractor Beam Repulsor displays its damage as a per pulse Kinetic Damage (say 1100 kinetic damage per pulse).
Tractor Beam shows up like this: 92 x25 (58 dps) Kinetic Damage..
Now i might be a bit daft...But when I'm quickly gauging effectiveness for damage (looking at the tool tips) I cant tell what this ability will do to a NPC ship (much less a player) per sec or 0.5 sec.. I do know that it will show up per second as say "400 kinetic damage done to ____(NPC)" with the in game damage log.
This is further compounded by the Trait: Scavenger beam..
I cant tell how much of a heal this is going to give me due to it reading the same as Tractor Beam To self: ___ Hit Points x42 (outside of the x42 makes is look similar in duration to Tractor beam 3)... When looking at abilities that Heal over time like Haz Emitters for say 15k hull heal over 15 sec (or 1000 hp per sec)...
So..Basically..can the tool tip be changed to show a per second kinetic damage rating and subsequent Scavenger trait changed to the HoT standard Haz Emitters uses?
Or if not..Can you explain it better?
