Possible mobile expansion?

It would be cool if STO could somehow be expanded to Android/iPhone. Even if it is small like being able to edit costumes, select or purchase ships, do duty officer assignments or Admiralty missions, etc. I wouldn't mind killing time while at work, stuck waiting on my wife, or just chilling while unable to get to my Xbox so that I can take care of my secondary stuff or just play around on the c-store. What do you think? Would Cryptic ever do something like that?

Would only be possible if they used the console controls and required players to use a controller, something I don't think any mobile game has ever done.

This game will never be on mobile.

There was an app called Gateway that offered very limited access to STO, but it was discontinued this year due to lack of interest. There is no plan to relaunch a newer version.
