"From Start To Finish, No Matter What"
To say last night's party, celebrating the 5th year anniversary of the first Banished fleet, was a success, would be an immense understatement!!
This gargantuan of a party lasted a good, hard, solid, straight eleven hours!!
From start to finish, our Orion base was continually filled with nonstop music from two absolutely outstanding streaming radios, both with all of their DJ's performing at their absolute best!! These groups I don't consider to be my friends. They're my family. Period.
To both Kirtang Pirate Radio and Subspace Radio, you guys never need an invite to Banished. You're family.
Just walk right in!!
From start to finish, our Orion base was continually filled with friends and members, too numerous to even consider counting or mentioning by name!! We were lucky to even have members make an appearance just for this occasion, who hadn't been around for months!!
Comments were even made that Banished chat hadn't been that active in months as well!! That's a warming thought. To have friends and members so dedicated, so loved, so loyal, and so "family", to go out of their way to show support after five years, still blows me away.
From start to finish, our Orion base was continually filled with fun and a TRIBBLE load of laughter!!
I "RLMFAO" so many damn times, I'm now wondering if it's actually physically possible to "bust a gut"!
I've never laughed as hard, nor as long, as last night. I spit so much tea, I can now personally say, my keyboard is ruined. Thank you Banished.
From start to finish, the entire party was absolutely wonderful!! For eleven solid hours, there was zero drama at the party or in chat.
...and from a Matriarch's point of view, THAT is simply astounding!! <grins>
From start to finish, Azonia Ainoza, did an outstandingly amazing job at organizing, planning, and throwing such a huge and successful party!!
On my absolute best day, I've personally never thrown such a huge shin-dig that lasted as long, and had any many guests!! Our Banished fifth year anniversary party will most certainly be one they write and sing songs about, decades from now!
From start to finish, ever since deciding to create this whirlwind of a crazy ride called Banished over five years ago, I never in my wildest dreams imagined it would have lasted this long, or flourish and continue to grow even to this day!
Have we had our ups and downs? Sure! I'd be ignorant to say otherwise.
Have we had our struggles? Of course!
But you're not gonna get anywhere great, if you don't struggle first!
That's where we are now. Banished always seems to exceed my expectations in every single way... and is only getting greater!
From start to finish, I've personally been lucky to have found some of the best friends I'll most likely never meet.
I'm lucky to have found friends who like my quirky sense of humor and my sometimes strange innuendos <grins>.
I'm lucky to have found friends who make me laugh, just as I'm always eager to try to make them laugh.
I'm lucky to have found friends that have the same likes and interests and musical tastes.
I'm lucky to have found friends that I can talk to, about any subject, without being judged, who will just listen.
I'm lucky to have found friends who I can listen to. Friends who trust me enough to tell me what's on their mind or what's bothering them, looking for my advice, or comfort, or just an ear to vent.
I'm lucky to have found the family I call, Banished.
From start to finish, family sticks together, no matter what.
