Seems awfully quiet in game. Time for Gamma quadrant expansion.

For a new season to drop, the game seems pretty quiet to me. Or maybe I am just imaging it. Que's don't seem much busier than last week.

I really think the game needs another expansion like legacy of Romulus. One that opens up the Gamma quadrant, Playable Cardassian, Playable jem Hadar, and Playable Vorta. Perhaps even Playable founders? Of course with all the Lockbox ships in game it would be hard to bring them to the cstore.

I would not call the Fed only Temporal release an expansion. Certainly nothing on the order of legacy of Romulus. I guess that is why the game is not as busy. They "expansions" and seasons are light on content.

i think that many are playing new pvp/pve mission. and sure, it is not as crowded as when there is a new expansion, but i can see activity everywhere. i think everything is more or less fine.
if there were a drop in player base, zen would be all ready 400 dili. remember that we have a 2 week of key's promotion.

It's definately you. Nearly 20 instances in Beta Quad, which is more than usual. Also, you can no longer tell how many people are in queues with the new UI, but they have popped quickly for me tonight over the 6 hours I was on.

Wait... what? When/where was this brand new release? The last "expansion" was nearly a year ago, and the one before that was Delta which was about ~20 months apart. I wouldn't say another year and a half, perhaps close to the end of the year, maybe first quarter of next year is when i would expect to see something. However, it would be nice to get another "recruit event". Really gives me something to work for.

Well looking back you had it seems two type of expansions. You normally had the primary expansion that last about 2ish years (like the launch of sto, and delta rising), than you had the secondary expansion that lasted about a year roughly (this would be something like legacy of romulus and if things keep on track agent of yesterday)., while you did have a third type I call sub-expansion that happened within larger primary an secondary expansion's story arcs.

Using this as a template for past patterns it would seem we could see a new primary expansion (2 year expansion) come in about september roughly. Mind you this is just using a pattern in the previous expansion, and even so that would put us not seeing a new expansion for about 7 more months roughly.
