fix for the krieger ground weapons not retroactive

why is that fix not retroactive for existing ground weapons?

I fear you're out of luck. I remember that on a similar occasion, a developer explained that they designed the binding rules to never become more permissible, so there is no practical and easy automated fix that could change this retroactively for items that are already bound.

Even if they wanted to retroactively turn it into bind-on-equip, the system has no way of knowing if the items haven't been equipped at some point thus legitimately bound.
