Save UI Settings for Multiple Resolutions

Would it be possible to implement a UI system like they have in some other MMO's, like Star Wars: the Old Republic, where you can save specific UI placements and not have them jumble around when you switch between different resolutions?
I normally play using 5760x1080 (3x 1080p screens in Eyefinity), but I would like to play on my laptop, which is 1600x900, without having to reset the Main UI each time I log in to another machine.
Also, if this system can be implemented, it would make it easier to adjust for multiple characters on a single account.
