I care not for loadouts, find them rather pointless as I run over 75 characters, each with her own ship and build. But stuff like Space DOffs, BOff seating and Traits (All types) should be saved. Skills shouldn't though, those are a seperate entity with their own mechanics.
But, I find specializations annoying, as they cannot be swapped at any time with some being space OR ground only. Maybe having a Ground specialization pair and a seperate Space specialization pair would make it so when on a mission you go from a space section to a ground section (or vice versa) you don't have to leave and go to sector space just to swap out the space/ground only spec for the other (not that story missions actually require such a specialised ground build 99% of the time). Or when queuing for a ground mission you don't forget to swap in your ground specializations of choice in place of your space ones.
For example, I would like to use say Pilot and Strategist in space, but when I switch to ground I would like my specs to automatically change to Command and Commando. Both of those combinations have minimal to no impact on the other type (Command is probably one of the weaker options in space, Commando is obviously useless in space, while Pilot and Strategist are useless on ground).
So for example, you could slot Intelligence, Temporal or Command on either (or both) of your Space and Ground specializations, Strategist and Pilot on Space Specializations only, and Commando on ground only.
Even if you will do this, I don't expect it to Season 14 (seeing as Seasons tend to be when mechanics change), which I hope to be primarily quality of life Season, adding multiple new story missions every month, revamping old content (a lot of Pre-Legacy Of Romulus content is looking very dated, and often plays poorly), and not adding more queues that nobody will play in a few weeks and not just adding a new reputation for the sake of it.
If you can't solve it logically, solve it like a moron.
51 + 1 Foundry Character Slots is NOT enough. Some of us love our characters. If I want to buy more character slots, why can't I? I couldn't experience the entire Delta Recruitment event without deleting a character.
The Iconians themselves can't time travel because their memories revert, but there is nothing to say an Iconian couldn't write everything she needed to do on a PADD, pin it to herself, travel back, read the PADD, do the tasks and return. Or just get one of her Non-Herald underlings to go back in time for her.
Oh yeah, I do Foundry missions for both KDFs and Feds. Just search KSTF (Short for Kinas Special Task Force, where Kinas is the name of the Admiral you will be serving under). The earlier ones are less story based and more combat based, while the later ones have a much heavier story element, but keep the large battles.
All three give the same at the base
13.1 EPG
13.1 Drain
listed below are what you fully upgraded as
[Inhibiting Competition Secondary Deflector Mk XIV [CtrlX] [EPG/ShdHeal]]
[Resonating Competition Secondary Deflector Mk XIV [CtrlX] [EPG/ShdHeal]]
[Deteriorating Competition Secondary Deflector Mk XIV [CtrlX] [EPG/ShdHeal]]
the Deteriorating should be Drain x2, since that would be used on a drain build
The Inhibiting should be Control x2, since that would be used on a control build.
The Resonating Should be SndHeal x2, since the wou8ld be used on a heal sci ship
There is plenty of ways to get alot of EpG, I don't understand the need to have plus 25 EPG on all the Secondary Deflectors when fully upgraded. I would understand Because the [EPG/ShdHeal] proc is built into the upgrade system. So could they be at the base be
I just Logged on the Tribble, And Noticed the Secondary Deflectors Changed
At Base Now
[Inhibiting Competition Secondary Deflector Mk XII 13.1 EPG 13.1 Drain 13.1 Control
[Resonating Competition Secondary Deflector Mk XII 13.1 EPG 13.1 Drain 13.1 Shield Heal
[Deteriorating Competition Secondary Deflector Mk XII 13.1 EPG 13.1 drain X 2
I wanted to thank any Dev that looked at those Sec Defl, and adjusted them from there original state. As Sci heavy player, it is much appreciated
"Frankly, not sure why you're on a one man nerf campaign. "
not just traits, but skills too - in other words, take a lesson from what your sister game, neverwinter, is about to do with THEIR loadout system
Oftentimes it feels like Neverwinter gets new things first, then STO just does a quick copy/paste.
"Neverwinter gets things first" is properly pronounced "Neverwinter is the live beta for larger systems before we migrate them to the game that keeps our doors open."

More like a "Favorite" tag.
