This thing isn't even live and folks are already trying to devise ways of speed running it or killing the competition instead of looking forward to having FUN.
Although, to some people, these trains of thought are fun so I guess it's all subjective.

I am happy for the PvPers. They are getting some attention and content meant for them. Not every bit of content the Devs come up with is going to please every player. So while I've had some fun, it's time for others to enjoy what the Devs bring them while I look forward to the next update.

To anyone here worried about being vaped or alphastriked, look up Thissler on YouTube. He shows you how alphastriking works and how to avoid it. Also escorts or zombie cruisers are far from the top dogs in PvP. Control, drain heavy sci ships and teamwork have always been OP. Escorts will only have a 20 second window every 2 minutes to get a successful kill on their own against a player as of the new balance patch. If you can take the first blow on the chin and fly at them guns blazing they'll have to run and wait for their cooldowns.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Meh, this looks and sounds boring, especially with the unfair divide between classes and those that have/don't have.
I think i'll stick to pvping in GW2, which can have several hundred players pvping at once, in open world vs world combat.
Everyone is the same level and has access to the same builds and equipment for your class, on separate servers with nothing from pve transferring over...

Did you read about the carrot?
This season brings with it a brand new Featured Episode, new types of queues though our War Games system that adds new challenges and new ways to play against other captains, a new reputation that features class specific space and ground sets, and the Player Potential system which match players in War Games and PvP queues based on relative player skill.

Not a carrot for me, especially if it is directly connected to what Cryptic have come up with on tribble.
I used to be a heavy pvper back in the day, but then lockboxes turned it into hell...
DPS hogs have destroyed the PVE aspect of these queues already, so crapdic wants to toss in PvP in the PvE fray? Forcing PvE players to PvP is just another way to ruin the already abandoned queues that they allowed the DPSers to destroy. Way too little grey matter going to work with this nonsense.

I should, but I don't.
