Romulan Cruisers

I most likely missed it if it has been answered, but did they (the devs) ever explain why the Romulan cruiser (equivalents) don't have the Cruiser Commands (Attract Fire, etc) that Klingon and Federation Cruisers have?
Time is a funny thing; There is always too much of it. Except when you need it the most, then there is never enough.

    I think the 'official' reason is that Rom cruisers have Singularity abilities instead.

    Unofficially, I suspect they didn't want to give the accidentally over powered Scimitar the Dreadnought Cruiser Command abilities to make it even more OP shortly after the Romulan faction was launched, and have just rolled with the above excuse since then.

    Be nice if those singularity abilities added a turn speed buff.

    scimitar is not a cruiser its a dreadnought warbird. Nothing else.

    Its in their reasoning the amount of abilities Romulan ships already have but, personally I think they should at least get 1 or 2.

    Well, the Scimitar would definitetely never be a Cruiser, it has a Commander Tac slot. I believe the non-singularity/non-Warbird equivalanet might be called Warship by Cryptic, going by some of the the existing 8 weapon slot tac ships. (examples: Ferengi Nandi, the Chel Grett, Undine Nicor, Krenim Imperium Warship)
