Tal Shiar Adapted Battlecruiser... worth it or not

I've been craving a "new" Romulan ship for a while now, and the more I read about the Tal Shiar Adapted Battlecruiser, the more I want to save up for one. I'm a Tac Rom, and this is a cruiser, so I'm not entirely sure if it would jive well with my toon; what really captured my attention was its console that apparently turns ships against each other? Sounds fascinating!

Anyway, what are your thoughts on this ship? Anyone here fly one? Or should I look for something else?

Depends on what you want with that oddball. Extremely versitile but not really a min/max ship, also it's a) outdated with the T6 version still being console exclusive (until our next infinity box run I presume) and b) a lobi ship which is expensive and a character only unlock.
It's a good ship but as of now there's lots of very capable competition which really raises the question wether a T5 lobi ship is worth the investment or not.

Captain's career path does not really have anything to do with what type of ship he or she can fly. I have Science Captains flying Escorts and Tac Captains flying Science ships. My Rom Engineer flies whatever I want him to an they all work well for him. In the end it is you flying the ship, not your char. If you want the ship, then get the ship. If you really want it, you'll find a way to make it work. As a Tac, you may want to check out the Tal Shiar Adapted Destroyer as well.

Thanks for the feedback guys! and thunderfoot I totally agree. Reason why I any doubts about the BC was because some people made it sound like it would be useless for a tac, which clearly isn't true. I'll be sure to check out the Destroyer... it's a helluva lot cheaper too...

I love my TS adapted destroyer... that said, I would wait. Why? Because consoles recently got t6 versions of the tal shiar adapted vessels. This usually means PC users will get one soon-ish

Agree, I love my Adapted Destroyer, and may dive for the T6 version when it drops.

If you want to save bit and get a complete console set, you can grab the t5 Adapted Destroyer now, and then the T6 Adapted Battlecruiser when it is released.

Sensor Analysis is always fun, with they were getting Battlecloaks though.

Also, keep in mind they use Warp Cores, not Singularity Cores, but they come with one that is part of their set.
