K-7 Revamp

This one is for you map makers.

Let's say that K-7 could use a revamp to keep up with changes in the game. For example, it doesn't resemble the little of k-7 we saw in TOS and doesn't have similiarity to its cousin, K-13. How would you revamp the K-7 station?

Me? I think I'd just use the k-13 map and replace consoles with modern LCARS. Replace chairs with modern ESD stuff.

We have a lot of TOS and ESD props in the Foundry, so a more direct fusion of new and old tech is how I'd go. Blocky hallways, some old conduits exposed (limits of retrofitting), but with modern furniture. Main foyer+ops more modern, more retro as you enter civilian areas (with the bar being thoroughly classic).

Perhaps a Tribble-Habitat and trade position would be a fun addition. I would also change the layout to be more like ESD or K-13 like you said.
A lower deck/abandoned shuttle bay might be a good way of adding story options.

I still think they should make a mission explaining why K-7 disappeared way back when the game first came out, and why Wildman has been interrogating that poor Klingon since then.
