Federation Temporal ships and 23rd Century costumes

Hey fellow captains,

I have what may seem to be a stupid question about the Federation temporal ships (Paladin, Theseus, Nautilus). I read in an old Arc post that these temporal ships can use the 23rd Century costumes from their corresponding lower tier ships (Theseus can use the Perseus costume). But when I look in the C-store before buying the ship, the C-store does not say anything about this as far as I can tell. The wiki also does not mention this.

Was this feature removed/not implemented? I don't want to spend 4000 zen (bought during the Phoenix event recently) and realize that I bought my 23rd Century captain a ship that doesn't match his style. Or do they get the costumes, and I can't see it in the store.

You can use the skins if you own the 23rd century versions

And you can use the 23rd Century costume if you buy the Fleet version of the 26th Century ship instead of the C-Store version. So it is an option if you don't care for the console and starship trait and have enough Energy Credits to buy the Fleet Ship Modules from the Exchange or want to save 500 Zen (3000 Zen for a ship or 2500 Zen for 5 Fleet Ship Modules).

I guess you should have bought the AoY pack they had on sale last week. It had it all.
