Hey - does STO have a public-facing API? One which works with the console (PS4) instances?
I originally asked this question via Cryptic support but they asked that I post in the forums instead...having searched this forum it seems generally it's been asked whether there's an API and there isn't one, but I think given STO's depth of functionality, it'd be much easier to navigate e.g. searching the Exchange via a web-based app (community developed). Surely STO itself relies on a service-oriented architecture for things like the Exchange, is it not possible to place a public (streamlined) facade on top of this?
