Doff / R&D Improvement (Active R&D)

in Duty Officer System and R&D
So we have a spot for Active Space and Active Ground... Why don't we have a spot for Active R&D? It is a huge annoyance going into craft something just to find out my needed Doff is out on some mission somewhere.

    I like the idea. I currently make it a point to slot all my R&D tasks first, before the regular DOFFing and it helps a lot, but I still have times when my R&D finishes, I try to slot another AP turret, I'm out of barrel synchronizers, and I find that my Fabrication engineer is out on 72 hour DOFFing assignment......

    Also it would be great if I could create more that FIVE components at a time... I mean really? 5?

    I could see 5 if it was actual end product, but for the individual components?
