They should sell the sub perks package for Zen, like they do on consoles.

However, the only interest I personally would have in liberated Borg is if I could get the implants unlocked for my Alien main.

The Seven of Nine uniform and hand implants can be used for any female captain or almost any female bridge officer while the face implants are only usable by Starfleet and TOS Starfleet female captains and female bridge officer and only the Federation-aligned Romulan female captains. Strangely enough, the Liberated Borg Klingon Bridge Officer from the C-Store can't use the Seven of Nine costume even though any other female Klingon Bridge Officer can use the uniform and hand implant. Not sure if the Liberated Borg Romulan (KDF) from the Lobi Store can use the Seven of Nine costume since I don't have it. The Seven of Nine costume only becomes available when a female Romulan joins Starfleet or the TOS Starfleet character reaches the 25th Century. So if your alien main is Starfleet or Federation-aligned Romulan, then the Seven of Nine costume is an option.
The face implant is NOT available for Fedroms.

And even without the stupid restrictions, one minimalist face implant would be of limited use for serious customization.

It is available to my female Liberated Borg Romulan and the various other female Liberated Borg Romulan Bridge Officers. So it is possible that for whatever reason, the face implant is only available to Liberated Borg Romulans and not any other Federation-aligned Romulans. However, giving the hand implant and Seven of Nine costume, but not the face implant to almost all female captains and bridge officers seems like a very poor decision choice.

Personally, the Seven of Nine costume should be extremely limited to who can use it while the hand implant and face implant should be available as a cheap alternative to borgify any captain or bridge officer. Owning the LTS should allow us to use any of the current Borg face implant options.

There is also the problem with the look of the Borg prosthetics. A prosthetic is something that is supposed to replace a limb. Therefore, a Liberated Borg should have their arm replaced with the prosthetic instead of using it as a weapon.

of course there is a point...all that stuff is fake and people like authenticity - like all of the people who HAD fakeulans before actual romulans came out

and the playerbase at large has already demonstrated that they will rebuy the things they already have if it's even a marginally bit better *cough*T6*cough*

They also did not have authentic romulan ships before the romulan faction was introduced, and they had no romulan uniforms either. The brow ridges were also not added to aliengen until the romulan expansion.

The AoY faction similarly worked because, even though TOS uniforms were available at launch, endgame TOS ships were never a thing until AoY.

But for Cardassians and dominion, the most desired ships are already available at T6, the only thing missing from either are Cardassian uniforms and Cardassian ground weapons, both of which would, imho, be more profitable in the lobi store.

Yes, this is a very much needed addition. I remember in an earlier thread that I stated that Cardassians (as a playable race) are basically on par with Ferengi right now. Both are playable if you can stomach the idea of your "Cardassian" being an aliengen. Both have their canon faction ships available as lock box ships. Ferengi clothing is available in the lobi store so Cardassians should have their outfits as lobi outfits too. Nothing else is required really. Although Cardassian fans like myself would love an AoY style "expansion" with at least 5 introductory missions that lead into the main story line. Such a thing doesn't make sense without a large ship pack being added to the C-store which won't happen because Cardassian ships are lock box ships by definition. Therefore, it won't happen.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

From what I've gathered, all costumes options are based on the "race" of the character, but this isn't the same text string you see on the screen, and sometimes what looks like two characters with the same race really isn't.

A Cardassian fraction is not worth playing if Andrew Robinson is not in it.

For me an important reason to become an LTS was the fact that I like to roll/create alts. When you take a subscription for a month you get all kind of goodies for your character, boff slots, bank slots etc. From time to time I found myself with characters that had all this goodies and characters that didn't have them. So I took a sub for a month. With a LTS I don't have to worry about this issue anymore. Further you get 500 Zen each month, 6 ships, Talaxian an liberated borg. Moreover, I had the money to spend on this game. So I bought an LTS when it was on sale.

Is it important for me that there is an exclusiveness on things like liberated borg, veteran ships? No, not really. An important thing however is the fact that with the LTS, you get all the goodies right away. You don't have to play 100, 200 days etc. That is fun.

So, Liberated borg as playable species in the Zen store, no problem. The idea to get it when you have spend a certain amount of money? Nah.
