I got an uncommon Pheonix prize pack. I'm a newbie at this what should I get first?
Dilituim Encrust Horta or Radan Tribble?
It says 5 Dilithuim per hour max, how does it work Radan Tribble work?
Should I bother with the Bonus pool or they disappear after awhile?

With the radan tribble you equip it, and pet (use) it once per hour for 5 dilithium. I got it just because, but I havent found it that useful. You have to manually select to use it, it is not automatic.
Mostly I go for the tech upgrades and use those on particularly expensive items to upgrade such as reputation and lockbox items.
Bonus pools are limited and run out after a set quantity.
"If this will be our end, then I will have them make SUCH an end as to be worthy of rememberance! Out of torpedos you say?! Find me the ferengi!".
I purchase the Phoenix upgrade kits with uncommons.
It that worth it?
If you don't need a self-buffing tribble (Ex. you have the IDIC one), or you're not interested in collecting them, then you're much better off (objectively) with the upgrade kits.
Notable missions: Apex [AEI], Gemini [SSF], Trident [AEI], Evolution's Smile [SSF], Transcendence

What do you mean by 800-900 uses to offset original cost of pheonix price pack?
I can buy pheonix price pack with Dilithium?
1 Pack costs 4,500 Dil.
10 Packs costs 40,000 Dil.
The tech upgrades are great if you want to upgrade your gear without using any dilithium, me personally im grabbing as many as i can and what i dont upgrade now i save for bobus upgrade xp weekend
4,000 dilithium per pack if you buy them in tens (40,000 dil in total), 4,500 if you buy them individually.
5 dilithium per use of the tribble
4,000/5=800 tribble pets
4,500/5=900 tribble pet
Notable missions: Apex [AEI], Gemini [SSF], Trident [AEI], Evolution's Smile [SSF], Transcendence

Well... not actually true since it costs Dil to purchase the Phoenix Prize Packs in the first place. Excluding the free pack players can get everyday until March 6th, 10am PST.
- 1 Phoenix Upgrade Kit = 4 Superior Upgrade Kits (in terms of Tech Points)
- 1 Phoenix Upgrade Kit = 4,000 Dil to acquire (assuming a 10 pack of Phoenix Prize Pack is purchased and you only get uncommon tokens)
- 1 Superior Upgrade Kit = 1,075 Dil used when applied
- 4 Superior Upgrade Kit = 4,300 Dil used when applied
I found it. When in doubt, read the whole news item...
To celebrate the return of this promotion, all players will also have the ability to claim a free Phoenix Prize Pack once per account, once each day while the promotion is active. Each time this is claimed, players will also receive a 1x-Use version of the “Phoenix Replica Smallcraft” Admiralty Ship. This daily account prize may be claimed by visiting either Grym on Drozana Station, or Onna at Deep Space Nine. While the event is active, players may accept a mission from their Journal that will aid in locating these new contacts.
I'm sitting on some zen that I can't trade for dilithium (account was flagged for "reasons", possibly including the usual buying zen off of steam), and as a result was screwed out of getting my hands on a Risian Corvette this weekend as a result (fair bit of disposable real-life income, but minimal dilithium as a noob). It'd be nice to know I've got a slightly longer window to get it...
