I have a good question, I would like to have more options on customization of ships. Is that even possible. I mean I find several ships in the T5 and up very interesting. From a Game mechanics point of view they are very similar. Personally I would love to see a 4 nacelle version of a Patrol Excort or a Heavy excort carrier. ANd more options for the defiant ships. different looks. Like I said for the most part you can win with almost any ship. so as long as they have similar stats why not give us more options on looks.
Both the Multi-vector Advanced Escort and the Advanced escort are decent stat wise but I really don't like their looks, the saucer isn't big enough and they are all basically tear shaped or more triangular than I like. and way smaller than I like.
Also I'm on XBOX 1 console and I can't seem to increase the size of my ship so I can see it better. I'm not talking actual size but graphics size, it's a little difficult to see a dot moving on the screen... the shuttle has an even harder time than the escorts. If I could just increase the zoom on the hud so I can see the ship I'd be happy.
I'd still love a 4 nacelle Patrol excort or Heavy escort Carrier but I don't know if the company will ever do that.
Another thing, If I had my druthers, I would love a defiant like ship with 4 front weapons, 3 aft weapons and 1 hanger bay... the rest just like a defiant of that style, refit/retrofit/sao paolo etc. As in, if you put the universal console cloaking device you can cloak, and can mount the quad phaser cannons, but it should also be able to use the Quad plasma cannons/quad disrupter cannons from the other faction if you have the ship over there and put those weapons into the account bank, not fleet just account. Just a thought.
