Skipping Mission Question.

Hi,

I really want a mission reward console from the Iconian story arc, but to get to that arc I have to complete all of the Delta Quadrant story arc.

So if I skip DQ mission 4(ish) and all the way through what do I actually lose out on when I do play them again proper?

Will the good item rewards disappear as if I've completed them for the first time? (so I'd be left with the rerun rewards only)?

Will I lose out on the 'first time play' high experience? (so I'd only get the small rerun EXP from the mission(s))

You wont loose or miss out anything. Feel free to skip and simply play them leater. The game XP rewards only care if u play them the first time not in which order you do. All other rewards always remain available each time you play them.

you can skip missions and play them later.
Seriously DON'T recommend it unless you are lvl 50 - 60+ or want a challenge.
Still, whatever you want to do, give it a shot. Doesn't work for you yet? Come back to it later when you have lvled up a bit and have better gear.

There was only really one or two snags with missions that couldn't be skipped, one was having to play one mission in the Kobali BZ (analyse dead scounts etc) the other minor thing was having to travel to an area to be introduced to a quest giver (normally you can tell this type by the very small amount of EXP it gives, around 1000).

I'm lvl 57 so no problem with skipping them but I wanted the console ASAP because although I like playing the missions, with this being a new character most of my time to taken up by trying to get all the marks for all the Reputations, so I'm only managing to play one mission per day so it would have taken a long time to get to that mission normally if I'd have just played through them.
