I have been collecting Omega particles for some days and am not getting the 40 points.

Any ideas?

You need to speak to Q to get the Omega Molecule Stabilization (Daily) mission. At which point you need to look at the mission window which tells you the 3 locations you must go to (ground / space) to collect the particles. Return to Q to submit the completed mission and receive the 40 vouchers.

Also do Signs and Portents with that character to get another 400 vouchers.

Also, you don't need to go to the faction capitals to launch the daily mission; just open the episode window and click on the anniversary event pic on the left, and the mission "Hail" window will open wherever you are. Collect rewards in the same way, by clicking on the "hail Starfleet" button on the mission window at the upper right of the GUI, and you can steer clear of the bugged capitals altogether!
