As for the bad points.
- Yes, notifications of other players gambling successes is annoying. But at least it can be disabled.
- Yeah, the game is a bit combat oriented. Would be nice to have a few short missions sprinkled in the main story where there is no combat (Cold Comfort) / not much combat, but story driven (Echoes of Light).
- DPS... Yeah, it dominates in the game, but PvP is basically dead in STO since it is absolutely not balanced.
- DPS for story missions is not much of an issue. DPS for STFs is generally not an issue unless Elite difficulty is concerned, or players are looking to complete an Advanced STF within 3 minutes.
- Ground combat is definitely not as good as space combat. But I have actually grown to like it despite only playing a few 3rd person shoot games' last one being Mass Effect 3. I prefer doing ground Advanced / Elite STFs compared to the space STFs.
