Adapted maco armor missing!!!

Ok im t5 with omega and have the 3 pieces of maco gear.......armor,shield,gun......got the project for the tailor custom......but nothing is there,no big deal its the adapt i want so i get all the adapted ground set and get the project for style 4,which i complete.
I have no maco outfits at the tailor,i have the sub option ie......
uniform
Maco
Off duty etc etc
I click maco and theres no other options......the armor isnt there.
Am i missing something? Because from what i remember thats all it was when i did it on my pc account.......yet on xbox nothing is showing up.
Edit: it seems it has to be done on a new slot......you cant modify an outfit.
