I'd rather see her as a prominent NPC that we frequently interact with.
I do like the Lukari though, and a Lukari BOFF would be very welcome. If it does happen though, please make sure that s/he can wear the uniform of the faction that she joins? I really hate when this isn't done. This includes Romulan uniforms for Romulan captains too.
