anniversary giveaways PC only?

So the week for anniversary giveaways has started but the news was only posted in the PC section and no mention in the post about what platform this is for..... Could you please clarify this and would be nice to get some information about the anniversary plans for the consoles as you still have not posted anything not even a simple we are doing xyz on the consoles or we are not doing xyz on the consoles until x date.

    You would think so and that is what I thought however the events calendar on the consoles lists the anniversary event at the same time as the PC.

    But you make my point for me there is confusing growing in game over the event as Cryptic have not clarified anything by posting any form of news which seems to be a growing trend with them they really need to start communicating better they have 3 platforms now.

    So what we have is some a large number of people expecting the same event as the PC and people like myself who came over the PC and knowing Cryptic telling them not to expect it as its all based around season 12 content and we still dont have all of season 11....

    Twitter has already blown up with people saying its still 550zen in the cstore and they are all console players so they need to start saying what platform these events are for in everything the post.

    To answer your post......

    It says in the News 'Season 12', which anyone will tell you is related to the PC release and IS NOT coming to the Console yet, they are getting AoY expansion shortly, and in the forums news section it's header clearly states that it is PC!

    Unlike the forums, the news ARE properly categorized by platform. The giveaway announcement only appearing int the PC section should tell people which platform it's for.

    The anniversary event hasn't been announced yet, so we don't know about that. I suppose it could happen on consoles, too, if they don't require the new featured episode in it.

    It simply says it will come to consoles at a later date.

    No, that's the release announcement for Season 12.

    All it says about the anniversary event is that it will feature the lukari ship that won the vote earlier (which they had already told when it was up for vote) and a return of the same event grind missions that were there last year. Nothing new.

    According to the in-game calendar, the anniversary event begins on february 2nd.
