    I for my part really hope for a commander tac and especially a lt. commander sci station.

    The T1 is a (light) escort so the t6 should be one as well. Though im wondering if they pull the same stunt as with the T6 connie and give it 5 forward weapons to make it a 5/2 escort.

    If they want to stick to the "canon" layout, hopefully because having access to things like GW3 and SV3 on an escort would be a lot of fun. I honestly doubt it though, so it'll most likely get some tac heavy escort layout because the T1 is an escort.

    I thought the T6 version is going to be the NX Refit? which means they could just treat it as a cruiser with a cruiser layout as it will have the secondary hull now giving it a power boost.

    Dunno, but i'm pretty sure its going to be a temporal light cruiser, the little brother of the t6 Connie, temporal, but no command specs, perhaps Intel? to keep it interesting?, anyway, i'm going to buy it.. :smiley:

    Based around the tribble model, it looks like you'll get the option of selecting either the "basic" NX or the refit. Which makes sense, because while the refit is well regarded and is as close to an official ship as you can get without being onscreen, no doubt many people would prefer to fly the screen-version NX class.

    So - given that the NX and its higher-tier cousins in the Akira family are all escorts, I'd expect any T6 NX to be an escort with Cdr tac seating. That would also differentiate it from the TOS and Kelvin connies, which are already fairly similar as Temporal / Command hybrid cruisers. Plus, while it's never bothered Cryptic before, it would also make more sense for such a small ship - even the refit is substantially smaller than the TOS Connie.

    Considering that it is my plan to give the ship to my main toon for thematic reason BUT with the obligation to transport over a cannon build from a currently used pilot escort I could live with that just fine too. :)

    We shall see, but like usual I suppose less speculation means less disappointment in the end.

    Maybe this is a pc thing vs a console, but where was it announced that there even was going to be a t6 NX enterprise?

    A pic was released on facebooktwitterfoxactionnews! Rest is sepculation but we all know cryptic. They will not rest until every shuttlecraft of the franchise will get its tier 6 treatment. :#

    I agree. It's not as universally coveted as the prime Connie, but it does appeal to a niche group, and Cryptic would make more money on it if it was in a lockbox.

    Looks like I found something to specialize my newest alt to be. Plus since it's a lobi ship I'll be able to farm up the EC and just buy it off the exchange along with some phase pistols. Now I just need the Zen to buy the costume pack.

    I immediatly fell in love with both ships. I must have them for my TOS char, whatever the costs, stats or boff seatings.... :D

    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    So, it's an escort - and Lobi, which is great because it will moderate the exchange price to a slightly-less-insane level.

    I'll place my no-fee bet now on being a temporal ship with a Lt pilot slot.

    Ok, I'll bite - why? It's already got new nacelles (if you look, they're bigger than the originals and enclosed like those of the Connie). I actually like the refit a lot - apart from the Galaxy class, it's the only time the primary / secondary hull split so beloved of Fed designs actually makes sense.

    Besides, this isn't a Cryptic design, it's from the original ENT series designer, Doug Drexler.
