MMO setting question

Not sure if this should be here or on some other related forum, but I wonder if Arcgames could make an online game based on some old show/movie/cartoon for those of us old enough to remember. Imagine playing online as a GI Joe, an MIB agent(which was a comicbook before it was a film), or some other character from the end of the previous century?

    They would need to get permission from whoever owned the rights to that show.

    I am surprised that there is no Transformers MMO. Make your own robot and choose what you transform into. collect new parts to make your stats higher and to look different.

    Yeah, also thought about a Pokemon one too a year or so ago, where you can play as one of the critters, and the trainer is only a mount.

    If any of these ever happen, I pray to Gods Perfect World Entertainment, and therfore Cryptic, has absolutely nothing to do with them ...

    I have played a great many mmo's by many different developers and there are far worse companies to develop and publish an mmo than Cryptic and PWE. Much worse, terrifyingly worse, horrifyingly worse companies. The kind of terror nightmares are spawned from.

    I get what evilmark444 is thinking(too many currencies), but this is more about which title would be more likely, I would pick the old Sunbow GIJoe cartoon were it up to me(I'm an 80's/90's boy). Just not sure if it's a good idea given the last decade & a half, would it be a morale boost, too pro-war, or pro-commercialism?

    Well, before Pokémon Go (which is not what I was looking for in an MMO style Pokémon game ...) came out I would have said Pokémon. Now ... idk really ... I'm gonna have to go with the CoH purchase attempt being the most likely, even if there hasn't been any news in about two years. Everything else I think of just doesn't sound very likely, and the obvious ones have already been done.

    What about giving the idea to some other mmo owner, like Daybreak?
