in Star Trek Online General Discussion
In regards to the omni direction arc beam array that can be crafted at beam school lv 15 or higher:

Does console damage modifiers work on this weapon, such as the phaser damage bonus or beam weapon bonus?

    They are the regular beams with [Arc] mod thrown in.

    I was curious, because I read the cutting beam in the omega reputation didn't receive bonuses. I also read a post in that topic that NO omni directional weapon received beam or energy type bonuses.

    I wasn't sure if the one created via r&d was the same.

    the second post you read may refer to the 360 point defense console. i don't know if that is boosted by the tac consoles or not
