I was reading the post on Season 12 and I saw a new name as lead Designer. ... Did Al Rivera quit ??

We'll also remove Earth and Humans from the game. They've been the centre of everything for way too long
with our luck he got promoted to have even more control over the game's direction
Which blog exactly were you reading? There are several for Season 12.
Which post on Season 12 are you talking about? There have been several.
General announcment - unsigned.
Queues - Staff Game Designer and Content Designer.
Battlezone - Staff Game Designer.
Kits and Modules Crafting - Staff Systems Designer.
Reputation - Systems Designer.
Story blog - Content Writer.
None of those are Al Rivera's position, Lead Designer, so wouldn't be signed by him, and can't be taken as a sign that he has left or switched positions.

Enough said. I was glad when Salami got to steer this game back in the right direction.
Id argue Delta Rising was a neccesary evil that became far less egregious over time since they rolled back a lot of the more disliked additions... But i can see your point.

I have no hate toward him or another, because I know they do this to give us a good free game and they do a great job, so that's not why I ask it, I mean Al Rivera seems a ok guy he is just doing his job I'm not hating him for that...

The blog linked there at the top is the General Announcement blog, which was posted by our new Community Rep, Ambassador Kael, but not signed by anybody.
It's pretty good, considering how many people fly Tier 6 ships and try to max their specializations and collect the optimal combination of starship mastery traits. And the Vaadwaur were fantastic enemies, both in storytelling and game mechanics.
The most important counter point:
6 year anniversary and no sign of slowing down. And not only that, they managed to deliver the game on two additinal platforms, growing their player base and probably their revenue streams.
Even if vocal posters on the forum are happy to denigrate the game, for some reason they are still around, and so are many other players, and the game seems to be doing well and improving and growing. If he was really doing a bad job, this game would be downsizing or being closed, or he'd have long been fired.

For me it was the delta rising fiasco and his comment "Delta rising is the best expansion ever , and the players love it" ignoring all the forum fires that was going on because of delta rising.
After that i havent taken gekko credible at anything period.

With the DOff system and Admiralty Cards, Geko has successfully recreated an electronic version of Magic: the Gathering.

You mean someone whose job it is to interact with the community and inform them of what's going on. Something like a Community Manager? Oh, wait, they do have one of those. A person whose full-time paid job it is to deal with the community at large.
