Is there a way to activate the console HUD on PC?

I've been curious about how the HUD for the console versions of STO (Xbox One/PS4) operates -- whether it's more efficient/fluent to operate than the PC HUD. I have an Xbox 360-like controller that I can plug into my PC. What I want to know is if there is an option to activate the console HUD, or if there's some type of mod that does the same thing. If there is not currently a way, is Cryptic, or anyone else working on making it so?
