Now you have me conflicted. Previous version had better hair. But this version is by a classier ship.

Nor should they be. Their ships would look weird.

I don't have a problem with any ship. I think everyone should be able to fly their favorite and be competitive at end game. Whether you're using the t6 constitution or the t6 pilot escort doesn't matter to me as long as you're having fun. Not sure why players get so upset about certain ships. Don't use them if you dont like them... but remember that other people might like them.

just so y'all remember that a lot of mirandas during the dominion conflict were pulled out of mothballs , overhauled and sent to the front line in less time than it takes to build a hull from scratch, i'm just suprised that more constitution II's (TMP/TWoK) and excelsiors weren't given the same treatment, and maybe they did but were sent elsewhere......

We can only assume. I could be that they were, as you say, deployed elsewhere. It could be that there were simply not enough of them left.

We pretty much know that one fought at Wolf-359 so it does seem somewhat evident that Starfleet will deploy just about anything that can fire phasers/torpedoes - just look at some of the kitbashes they used; in my opinion there wouldn't be any need to deploy Frankenstein ships if they hadn't exhausted their 'back catalouge' first.

At least one Excelsior (the Lakota) was upgraded with Quantum Torpedoes as well as stronger phasers (enough to challenge the Defiant)- we certainly see enough of that class through the war. I don't recall any of them firing Quantums though- if supplies are limited they'd probably have been at the back of the queue.

    You are so wise!

Why can't all folks adopt this guy's way of thinking.

ENJOY YOUR SHIPS. Be it a Vorcha with polorons, a Constitution with Iconian armament, a Scimitar with white mark x common weapons.....just enjoy it and don't pee in everyone's bowl of Cheerios or Coco-puffs because 'it ain't cannon!!!!!!!'

Yep, so I can envision, say a older ship with new stuff on it can still kick behinds.
