Upgrading Hangar Pets?

Is it in the pipeline to be able to upgrade Hangar pets???

    I have no knowledge of this, but my guess would be not, because the upgraded versions of many hangar pets are tied to Fleet Starbase upgrades. Indeed, the Hangar Pets tab is one of the very last things to appear, (at the Space Equipment vendor), when the Fleet Starbase is fully upgraded.

    no. Hanger pets are preset. that's why there are various grades or types of the same ones.

    The Advanced 'Pet' are in your Dilithium Store. What shows up there will be, with the exception of Faction-based models, dependant on the Carrier/Flight-Deck/etc. ships you own.

    Advanced and Standard Swarmers that are purchased at the Fleet Spire can be used on any ship, unlike the Advanced Swarmers you can obtain through the secret Console access in the FE 'Sphere of Influence' which can only be used on Obelisks.

    The Elite Scorpions and Widows are available through Project unlocks in the New Romulus and Nakura Reputations.
    Elite Swarmers are available at Tier III Fleet Spires. All other Elite 'Pets' require that the Fleet Tier V Comm Array unlocked to purchase.

    The Upgrade System will never be made applicable to 'Pets'. Specialization Kit Modules available in the Dilithium Store cannot be upgraded either. In both cases quality level is tied to some sort of progression or unlocks in various game elements.

    Why would you even want to upgrade hangars? It's cheaper to buy the Advanced/Elite version in the appropriate store than to upgrade.

    yeah I doubt that we would see a hanger pets added to the upgrade system, but I would not mind if we had maybe a method of re-outfitting them with different weapon-load outs (more likely thru the crafting system.).

    I mean if we can use basically any weapon/energy type on our ships, than why not allow us to match our hanger-pet's weapons to the main ship's weapons. If i am using the Jupiter carrier with wither disruptor weapons/torpedoes, it would be nice to be able to have my hanger-pets mirror that choice.

    Hangar pets don't have a mark. Only rarity. It will never be possible to upgrade them because the whole point of having elite versions is that a T5 science section of a Fleet Starbase is required to buy them. If your fleet doesn't have T5 science. Ask for a starbase invite in the NoP Public Service Channel.
