Romulan marks

I'm curious as to why Romulan marks are not more abundant. There are so many ways to gather other marks in resonably large amounts. I know that there are other STFs like The Vault and the ones with the Elachi, but they are very rarely ever started by other players. I once did the Azure nebula rescue on advanced and get only 19 marks while ones like omega, you can get many more.

    Tau Dewa Sector Patrol and New Romulus Adventure Zone are two ways to earn Romulan Marks that don't rely on other players.

    If you do the first patrol mission of the day in any of the systems in the sectors around New Romulus, you should get 60 marks. I suspect the marks received are not higher versus other reputations because this reputation does not have Elite marks needed to build projects. So to keep project building at the same pace for all reps, less marks. Just a guess.

    While it says the Tau Dewa Sector patrols no longer apply, that is someone gives a mission on a daily basis, you can still use any of the systems listed in the link below to get the daily.

    Romulan marks and Romulan Rep gear is some of the easiest to earn. Just running Epohs and Japori system patrol once a day will earn a bunch of marks over time. And since there's no elite mark requirement, you don't need to worry about doing advanced or elite queues.

    And winter epohhs, and tropical birds, and monkeys.... most of my alts got T5-Rom and only set foot on the planet to do the T5 ground mission. Of course, those marks are limited to holiday times. Ah, well.

    (Heck, between the 250 all marks bonus for hitting lv50, and holiday marks, my TOS alt is T3 in all nine reps - with enough marks for T5 - and is just up to Frozen/Coliseum, episode-wise, and no STFs/FEs)

    Heck i remember before they fiddled with the red alerts less then a month ago it was way to easy to get romulan marks.


    If you need more get down on Romulus and do some of the radiant missions they practially all award marks.
