Greetings, Admirals!
Welcome to Episodes 71-75 of Let's Play Star Trek Online - Winters Fed Walkthrough.
This series is a complete walkthrough of every aspect of the game - Story Missions, Reputations, DOFFing, Admiralty, BOFFS, Research and Development, Fleets, Crafting and End-Game Content etc. Every player, new and veteran, will find them a valuable source of information, tips and tricks. You may even learn something new! This could be anything from an accolade to a system that you didn’t fully understand or helpful hints on earning in game currencies like Energy Credits or Dilithium.
There will be a brand new episode released every Monday through Friday.
In Todays Episodes:
In this episode we play the new story mission "Paehhos Crater" in order to proceed further in the New Romulus story arc so that we can get our Tier 5 New Romulus Reputation reward. Once we have finished this mission we then move on to "Overgrown Caves". This mission is pretty close to us and very linear so it's not that difficult at all.
In this episode we do the mission "Hwael Ruins". This is the final mission we need to do in order to unlock the mission that is required to get our Tier 5 New Romulus Rep reward. It doesn't take us very long to complete this mission. Just a little over 5 mins so it's pretty easy to complete.
In this episode we play the new story mission "The Power Source". This mission is needed in order for us to claim our Tier 5 New Romulus Reputation reward. One thing that I would like to point out as a tip for doing this mission is to bring EV Suits with you for your Away Team. If however you do forget you can purchase some from the Dilithium Store as I did but ONLY go for the ones that cost 100 Dilithium.
In this episode we travel back to ESD and we are shown how to repair our ship for free. Ships can gain damage from doing Advanced or Elite content. While at ESD we do some house cleaning and clear out our inventory by going to the 50% vendor. Once we are finished with that we then move on to getting some of our end game gear from the different Reputations. We are given a detailed description on all the gear we get and the reasons why. After we have finished with the Rep gear we are then shown how to turn Reputation Marks into Dilithium via the Reputation window.
In this episode we play the story mission "Vorgon Conclusions". This is actually the first story mission we have played since hitting level 60 and after completing all of the Reputations. This is a pretty cool mission in that it makes reference to episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise and Star Trek: The Next Generation. It also features the Voice Over from a character named Daniels who was in Star Trek: Enterprise. The mission isn't very difficult for us now that we are max level 60 and we have all of our Reputation traits.
