Returning player, small question

So, I have tried my best Google-Fu and have been left still scratching my head for an answer to a question.

Basically, I haven't played in a long time. I returned a little over a week ago and decided to try out the MVAM Prometheus. STO wiki said the ship splits into 3 and the other 2 parts remain as combat pets, similar to the Galaxy saucer separation.

However, to my surprise, the other 2 pieces just simply disappeared. Then I noticed when my saucer separates, it does the same.

Purchasing the special MVAM Prometheus was based SOLELY off having the other pieces remain. Years ago when I got the galaxy saucer separation console, the idea was the same.

Did this mechanic change? I do not mind in regards to my galaxy sip as I have enjoyed it long before today as well. I am a little disappointed at the Prometheus' MVAM ability if the other pieces disappear, as both in-game and out-of-game information leads me to believe they are supposed to.

Anyway, if someone in-the-know could chime in, maybe even link to a Dev Post or published article that details the changes would be terrific. Or if there not... maybe a troubleshooter for as to why they disappear.

It's a bug. According to other players in the bug forum, right now all non-hangar pets, mvam, saucer, and so on are bugged (I son't like the idea behind those consoles, so I never bought any ships with them, and so have no first-hand experience.)

Thank you. Min/Max wise, I am unimpressed with the consoles. However, I chose them for iconic nostalgia purposes and the fun/entertainment factor I get from them.

Hopefully the bug gets fixed soon then! I miss my little saucer valiantly by my side.
