Not so bad, after all....

So; for those who've somehow not seen the announcement, a T6 KDF Sci ship is imminent.

Not only does this plug a glaring gap in the T6 lineout (as does its rather gorgeous Rom counterpart), I think it's indicative that Cryptic have not yet written off the smaller factions. I had been a bit worried by the cross-faction ships in AoY, but it looks like this is not the new normal.

The other nice thing, for those that have had the chance to visit it, is the KDF K-13; impressively staffed by TOS Klingons. Hopefully as the holding develops it'll get a few more Klingon accouterments.

    I do not know Staq it looked like a clone of the Nebulas aft section. It is kinda puzzling why this, but still no Vor'cha. Not thrilled about it myself but its hardly the end of the world. Just one players opinion.

    I do not care how unattractive it may be to some players. It is a T6 KDF Science vessel! Something this game has needed very much for a very long time. The Rommie T6 Science vessel is another of those 'ya know what this game really needs?' items.

    I am purchasing one of each of them for each of my relevant chars the very second they are available. I also will encourage everyone I know to do the same.

    At first glance, I like the look of it. It definitely has distinct Klingon design characteristics. As some have already noted, it resembles a Vor'cha class Attack Cruiser with the forward command section having similarities with the Kurak Battlecruiser. Perhaps a strange mix for a science vessel, but so be it. In the screen shot provided, it looks good and I'm hoping that I can still say that after we see more of it. Really hoping that it has a few mix-n-match parts on it but not expecting too much with that. Nevertheless...very happy to see a true KDF science vessel. I intend to purchase it when it arrives in the C-Store. Will be a nice departure from having such great fun in the D7 Temoral Battlecruiser.

    Video of the new Klingon science vessel posted in the general forum. Very nice! After having seen it from many different angles I can honestly say that this model could be a modernized Vor'cha. Looking forward to seeing the specs. Simply based on appearance I want this ship.

    I can barely believe it after all this time, but there it is - a Klingon designed science ship!!!
