Any Chance for KDF to be able to join Federation Fleets? (or vice versa)

I played STO a long time ago and I mained a Gorn and I very much enjoyed it, however after coming back (about 3 weeks ago) I tried playing the Gorn again but i could not find an active fleet to do anything with and also my timezone might have something to do with it.

So I decided to reroll to the Federation side and its just overall better social wise, managed to find a nice active fleet to hangout with and its been great, then the CCA event started and I have been logging over to my Gorn to do the CCA on and I just miss playing him with his neat ships.

I was wondering if they would ever allow the factions to join eachother fleets just because it feels like the KDF get the short end of the stick so bad but they still have some nice looking ships and Gorn.

I'm not saying merge the factions or anything just the fleets so I could bring my Gorn into the great Fed fleet I have found.

maybe even make it a diplomatic thing in the fleets that they need to upgrade to recruit cross faction or something. I'm sure it wouldnt be to hard to find a lore friendly way to do it.

you can do that? I didn't know that, Thats already so close to just adding them to the same fleet they should just do it haha. Thank you though I will try to see if I can do something like that, Can you join party with fed players?
