There's nothing wrong with the film grain, and it certainly doesn't cause any medical issues. Jeez. Basic fact is your brain adapts and it becomes barely noticeable after a few minutes. Yes a toggle would be nice, but the grain is only in a handful of missions and considering the forum isn't full of complaints about it shows that the extreme majority of players don't think it's any issue at all!!
