I was wondering what one /retains/, once the subscription expires. The EC cap? I have a friend who has had it happen where he lost the EC cap when his subscription dropped and lost a chunk of EC to it, is this still the case? I notice the "EC Uncap" in the Zen-store is listed as "Already purchased". Do I retain the Drydock slots? What happens to the ships in the Drydock if the slots go away?
Basically, what I am looking for here is confirmation from folks whom have had personal experience with having their subscription drop and what the changes were.

You will also loose the extra character slot that you received. If it is occupied with a captain, then the slot is on "loan". Purchasing 2 character slots later means you will buy the loaner and get another slot.
You keep the following:
- Account bank and its 20 slots
- Extra personal inventory slots received while subbed.
- Bank inventory slots received while subbed.
- All captain retain tokens receive while subbed.
Those are the things I remember.
Note: If you have more than 10m EC when you subscription ends, then you will keep whatever amount you have at that point. However, you cannot receive any more EC until you EC account drops below 10m EC. Naturally, any EC gained which pushes you EC account above 10m EC will be automatically lost... forever... Unless you buy the EC Cap Remover; I think it costs either 500 or 750 Zen.

So a lot of the information on this page is out of date, then.
Yes, I had read the page before posting, but as we have obviously proven, asking for clarification on the matter is not unjustified. The FAQ link provided does not quite get in to the detail I am looking for, on the matter, so please be patient.
What of the BOff slots attained?
When does the 500 zen usually get deposited? (I mean, it will go right towards the EC uncap, in a month, but still.)
LOL, I left out the 500 Zen stipend that will be lost when the subscription ends. You usually get the stipend within a couple of day of subbing. I can't tell you more than that because that last time I subbed was back in mid 2014. You will keep your Boff slots. I am actually considering buying the LTS when it goes on sale this month or next month.
The info on that page is accurate, but I suppose it has been a while since I subbed that I don't remember all the details. I would have sworn the additional captain slot was only temporary.
You get the following when you sub... even if it is only for 1 month.
- The 500 Zen stipend effectively reduces the sub cost to $10 (1,000 Zen).
- The Account Bank (which you keep) costs $10 or 1,000 Zen to purchase separately. Once you have you use it to move items that are not bound to character by using the Account Bank. It can also be used to transfer EC between characters. You also have the ability to mail items to your other characters which is extremely useful. Additionally, once you complete as specific reputation in the reputation system, say for example the Iconian Reputation System, you are allowed to create a Sponsorship Token for other captains so that they can complete the reputation in half the time. The Token is account bound and the only way to transfer it to one of your other captains on the same account is with the Account Bank.
- Assuming you are level 50 by the time the sub ends you will get 30 personal inventor slots. You get 6 slots every time you rank up. 12 such slots will cost you 400 Zen or $4 so 30 slots is worth $10 or 1,000 Zen. That is per character. The more characters you have the more valuable it will be. Also, this is rewarded retroactively. Meaning if you have 10 max level characters and then you decide you want to sub, then each character will automatically receive 30 personal inventory slots which is worth $100 or 10,000 Zen.
- Similar to the personal account slots, by level 50 you will receive 60 bank slots. You get 12 slots every time you rank up. 12 bank slots costs 300 Zen or $3 so for one character 60 bank slots is worth 1,500 Zen or $15. Again, this is retroactive for characters that are already level 50 characters.
- I think the additional character slot is worth something like 250 Zen or $2.50.
- Having extra Bridge Officer slots is nice, but not necessary. Some people like variety such as 4 Boffs devoted to manning the bridge and 4 different Boffs for your ground crew. I guess you get a total of 10 Boff slots by the time you are level 50, again rewarded retroactively. I guess 2 Boff slots cost 400 Zen, so that means 10 of them is worth 4,000 or $40. And again that would be per character.
- Every time you rank up while subbed, you get 1 Captain Retrain Token so that you can change your Captain Skills... especially if you screwed up. Each token is worth 300 or $3 and a single captain can up to 5 of 'em... assuming you level them up from the beginning to level 50 before your sub ends.
I recommend it highly as it provides tremendous advantages.
By the way, no offense taken. I will try to avoid responding to you in the future, as you requested.
Qapla!
I went straight from F2P to Lifetime, and I highly recommend it, especially if there is a sale, which there should be soon. I know you asked about when the subscription drops, so I apologize for not giving you that. As has been stated above, there is a lot that stays.
With a Lifetime sub there is a lot more though. Monthly return of 500 zen on the investment is up front the most practical and useful one. Mugato pets, Fireworks, and titles are fun things that while not really useful in combat are just fun to have when in the social areas. I really like not having to worry about if my subscription is going to expire, and I like having the flexibility of choosing to grind for extra zen, or just play the game and get zen as time goes by.
There is so much to enjoy. Once in awhile there wil be a negative experience, sure, but really that can happen if it is Free to Play also. So why not go for the max?
Qapla!

What the TRIBBLE?
Go to the C-Store and checkout the EC Cap Remover which should be under Services. If it states something like "Purchased", then you should be okay. If a price is listed for it like 500 Zen or 750 Zen, then that is a problem because that means your EC is capped at 10m EC and implies your subscription has indeed been terminated early. If this is the case, then I would contact customer service.
I have submitted a ticket to support and am waiting for a response.
