Lifetime membership on consoles

I haven't been playing sto for very long. I started on a console. But I can put up to 40 hours a week in the game.

At 40 hours a week of entertainment, if we were to equate this to movies, and the average movie ticket is $10 with a two hour movie, that's $200 a week I put in movies. So the game does provide ample entertainment.

My question is, to all those who've been playing this for years, since consoles started as free to play, is there any real benefit for buying the lifetime membership subscription?

I mean, it's not truly a membership or subscription since anyone can play on a console and they don't even need to create an arc accnt.

I'll be playing this game for at least a year. I do stick with games, I've been playing destiny since launch and put about 40 hrs in sto and 10 in destiny per week.

So, again, are the features and items in a lifetime membership a value or will I find that most things given in the membership I wouldn't even use anyway?

It's a personal choice. LT gives plenty of benefits. It's up to you to decide whether it's worth it to yourself. Everyone is in a different situation don't forget.

Do you plan to create multiple captains?

Besides the obvious benefits of the nice ships (Chimera, etc.), android boff, tier V tokens (fly a Fek'Ihri carrier "free") and so on, the 5% XP gain is nice for leveling up new captains without needing any grinding.
